When you create your blog, you may be asked if you want to create a Google profile or a Limited profile.
If that is the case, please go ahead and select “Blogger profile”.
You will then be able to set a display name and profile photo and add a Blogger profile gadget to your blog's Layout.
Limited means it will be limited to Blogger, and won't include your Google profile.
Google offers very little if no traffic at all. This is why Paul doesn’t recommend using it when you set up your blog.
If you have already set up a Google profile, you can just switch to a 'limited' Blogger profile; it won't have any impact on the next steps of your program.
To edit your profile go to settings, and click on the blue link which says: user profile.
