If you're new to Facebook Ads, it can be a daunting experience the first few times.

The first and most important thing to share is that Facebook Ad guidelines are not always black and white.

There are still a number of grey areas when running Facebook ads, which may at times leave you with a sense of frustration or bemusement as to why one particular ad has been accepted, when perhaps another, seemingly appropriate ad, has been refused.

In the first instance, we'd always guide you to look at the market leaders in your niche first.

Follow them on Facebook, engage with them and you will soon be targeted by their ads.

This will give you the perfect opportunity to look at what other marketing companies - who are spending huge budgets on advertising every day - are doing with their budget.

You can then model these excellent examples and use them for your own. 

Additionally, there are a number of stipulations with Facebook ads around keywords and images that should be avoided.

For instance, "before and after" images are generally a no-go, and promising "fast cash" and "rapid weight-loss" are also very likely to be blocked.

Overall, it's a case of looking at the market leaders, expose yourself to their pages and content so you are in turn targeted by their Ads.
