Facebook sometimes decides to shut down accounts with no apparent reason. In order to avoid this inconvenience, follow the advice given below:
#1 Make sure your account is structured
- Use a Business Manager account and not your personal account: Facebook wants to see you’re here to make business.
- Ideally, every business should have its own business account
- Do not use PayPal as your payment method!
- Make sure to assign phone verification: go to your account > About > Contact and basic info > Add a mobile phone
- Start promoting slowly (i.e. a $5 post boost), then gradually increase your budget
-
Delete any ads that have not been approved
#2 Make sure your ad is compliant with Facebook Ads rules
- Read their Terms & policy
- Avoid topics like make money online, gambling, sex, alcohol, etc.
- No click bait, no fear, no ideal body type, nothing provocative
- Your ad and your landing page must be congruent: same image, same text, same color, same promise
#3 Make sure your landing page is compliant
- Make the intentions of your landing page clear: No hidden goal
- Include a link to your privacy policy and T&Cs on your landing page
- Insert the logo or name of your business
