It is important to feel confident with the articles that you post on your blog. Not only do you want to provide great content for your audience in your niche, you also want to ensure you are abiding by copyright law and ethics.

Below we've included some useful tips on how to ensure you stay out of legal trouble and be a welcome member of the blogging community.

You have a variety of options available to you when creating post content.

1. Using articles from other writers:

The most popular, and certainly the quickest option is to use existing content which has already been created. There are a number of great (free) sites. The most popular of which are Ezine Articles and articlesdashboard. Both websites provide you with thousands of articles which cover a range of topics.

Furthermore, you can visit an online directory of free article sites hereYou'll be sure to find a wealth of information for your blog - no matter your niche.

When adding articles from these free sites, we suggest you do the following:

 - copy the entire text body & title exactly as they appear
 - either leave the existing images from the post and include suitable referencing with a non-clickable URL link or remove any original images from the article and add your own - either with appropriate accreditation or from free-to-use sites
 - credit the author
 - include a non-clickable link back to the original article.

 2. Sharing videos from YouTube on your blog:

Videos are an extremely powerful way of reaching your audience quickly, grabbing their attention and providing a wealth of information across a medium which is accessible to everyone.

In many instances, videos can be more engaging and interactive to the viewer than a written article, whilst still providing the same level of content as a text post.

We'd advise you to mix a combination of written and video articles and gauge which draw more interaction and engagement from your following.

3. Creating your own content:

Whilst this may be time-consuming, it certainly is a popular option for people who wish to stamp their own 'voice' on an article.

Whilst the draw of creative freedom is a popular one, it is not the method that we would advise when starting your online business.

Instead we would encourage you to spend the time growing your social media profile, driving targeted traffic to your opt-in page and positioning yourself as an expert in your niche.

4. Enlisting others to create content for your blog:

You can always outsource blog content and post creation. Sites such as Upwork and Peopleperhour allow you to search for freelance writers, who you can hire to create articles for you.

No matter how you choose to create content for your blog, you should always ensure your written articles look appealing to the visitor. You can do this by adding eye-catching images to your blog.
